Email Client Guide

To get the information specific to your account, please enter your account's associated email address.

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap on Accounts & Passwords.
  • Tap on Add Account.
  • Here you should see a list of options, please select Other positioned at the bottom of the list.
  • Tap on Add Mail Account.
  • You will be prompted to enter your account details.

    Name Your Name
    Email Your Email
    Password Your Password
    Description Use this to label the mailbox on your phone

  • Once you tap Next, another form will appear. We advise setting up IMAP here as it is better suited for multiple devices. We will only be providing instructions on setting up IMAP.
  • Please tap IMAP to be sure it is selected and fill in the form as follows:

    Name Your Name
    Email Your Email
    Password Your Password
    Description Use this to label the mailbox on your phone

    Incoming Mail Server
    Host Name
    Username Your Email
    Password Your Password

    Outgoing Mail Server
    Host Name
    Username Your Email
    Password Your Password

  • Once you have correctly filled in all the details, please tap Next.
  • Here you will be prompted what you want to sync to your device. Confirm Mail is selected. It's optional if you would like to sync your Notes app on your device with your email account. Then tap on Save.

If you have correctly entered all the details, you should now have your email account on your iOS device. If you have any problems setting up your device, we advise you consult our troubleshoot guide.

  • You'll then need to navigate to Preferences by clicking Mail in the toolbar, then Preferences... in the dropdown menu.
  • When the preference window opens up, go to the Accounts Tab, then select the + in the bottom left corner.
  • When prompted, select Other Mail Account... and click Continue.
  • You will be prompted to enter your account details.

    Name Your Name
    Email Your Email
    Password Your Password

  • Once you click Sign In, another form will appear. We advise setting up IMAP here as it is better suited for multiple devices. We will only be providing instructions on setting up IMAP.
  • Please fill in the form as follows:

    Email Address Your Email
    User Name Your Email
    Password Your Password
    Account Type IMAP
    Incoming Mail Server
    Outgoing Mail Server

  • Once you have correctly filled in all the details, please click Sign In.
  • Here you will be prompted what you want to sync to your device. Confirm Mail is checked. It's optional if you would like to sync your Notes app on your device with your email account. Then click on Done.

Troubleshooting

Cannot connect Device to Mail Server

First we recommend checking to see if you already have the account listed in your Mail Accounts. If you are migrating from our Shared Hosting to VPS, we recommend removing your account from mail and add it again.

Please verify you have typed in all the values in correctly.

To check if the username and password for the account you are using is correct, we recommend testing by logging into webmail.
